01/05/2024This position reports to the Project Portfolio Manager of the Geel Site, within the Sanofi Specialty Care department of Sanofi Manufacturing & Supply.The candidate will be located in the Geel manufacturing site.
He or she will execute Project Control activities and fulfill various financial and digital needs to numerous local and network stakeholders. This role is a key businesspartner to our operational teams in the manufacturing site, mainly focusing on ProjectControls.
We are looking for a qualified, energetic candidate with economic background and affinity with Project Management.
The candidate needs to have good communication, analytical and digital skills.You will demonstrate your capability to work transversely and will also assume a variety of responsibilities in the areas of Financial Controlling, Reporting, and problem solving.This person will act as a lead for Project controlling.
However, the responsibilities for this position are transformative in nature and will follow the needs of the site. Responsibilities:
Forecasts / closing of actuals:
Ensure timely and accurate project and fixed asset reporting and variance analysisSupport and participate in month end close activities which include monthly review of actuals, accruals preparation, perform accounting entries, provide visibility on performance to project managers and our project portfolio managerIdentify and report risks and opportunitiesVerification if project financials are still within budget limitsBuild and issue templates easy to understand for individuals not familiar with FinanceProject Controlling:
Support the business in preparing business cases and NPV analysisSupports Project Managers in correct project reporting and milestone preparation (use of the templates, check milestone deliverables, challenge benefit realization/business case)Participation in monthly project steerco meetingsParticipation in milestone governance meetingsInitiation of Strategic Project Endorsement requests to enable budget approval for projectsInitiation of projects in the appropriate systems to enable purchase orders for projectsTraining & support of Project Managers to implement a new way of working for Project FinancialsRequirements:
Master’s degree with focus in finance/accountingLanguage:
Fluent in EnglishExperience in Project ManagementSolid financial knowledgeStrong digital skillsExperience with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI is considered a plusMindset:
