You will assist in the implementation of new assays developed by the Genomics Services assay development group.
Major responsibilities Research, develop and implement new bioinformatics features or pipelines Run, monitor and maintain the current bioinformatics pipelines Assessing the quality of the bioinformatics analysis results Maintaining documentation of procedures and process configuration Assist and guide the Genomics services assay development group with bioinformatics solutions You track new developments in relevant fields and bring new ideas to improve our capabilities Assist in the active follow-up of the bioinformatics team Participate in the validation of these solutions Profile Master in science (engineering, computer science, bio-informatics,…) with at least 2 years of experience in the field of bioinformatics, or Bachelor in informatics with equivalent working knowledge.
Industry experience preferred.
Experience in computational analysis pipelines for high-throughput NGS data analysis General experience in NGS data handling, processing, and analysis Good programming skills in Python and R mandatory Knowledge of SQL, Microsoft SQL server, Nextflow is a differentiator Cloud computing experience (AWS, Google Cloud, MS Azure) is a plus Familiarity with principles and methods of software development and validation as well as familiarity with molecular laboratory work is highly advantageous You are analytical, well organized, result orientated and a team player capable of working under minimum supervision You combine strong technical skills with excellent communication skills Fluent in English, both written and spoken Working conditions Full-time, 38 hour week, day shift Flexible hybrid schedule What we can offer CellCarta is made up of dedicated professionals who are focused on achieving our mission of impacting the future of patient therapy.
