This mechanical / automotiveengineer will be in charge of the development of integrated venting solutions for vehicle electrification.The position will be based in our EMEA headquarters in Leuven and can partially be done from home.We happily welcome candidates with a first engineering experience with an interest in design, part validation and project management, but equally accept candidates with 5 years of experience.We will also provide a tailor-made training to guide you in your job.
This role will report to François Dittenit, Engineering Manager in our Vehicle electrification division.Role responsibilities:
Act as an engineering project lead, mainly focused in automotive markets.Own and coordinate the testing and validation of product designs to meet market and customer needs. Understand application requirements and implement product solutions for venting applications.Support the EMEA sales team to provide technical support and ensure success of EMEA business opportunities.Meet all customer deadlines and requirements while following a stage gated product launch process.Communicate, present, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, internally and externally.Collaborate with engineering and business team to propagate knowledge, voice of customer, and develop innovative solutions for our team and customers.Support customer regarding products that are in serial production phase as well.Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering - Mechanical Engineer, AutomotiveEngineer or equivalentMinimum 3 or 4 years of experience in automotive sectorFirst experience as applicationengineer or as design engineer, sales engineer, product engineer, project engineer, ..

Self-initiative and energetic candidate strongly interested in interacting with customers.Fluent in English, fluency in French is a strong asset.Nice to Have:
First experience in using and understanding some of Automotive product/process/quality function tools for example APQP, FMEA, DVP&R, SPC, 8D, CAPA or PPAPCreative mind set to develop new conceptFirst experience working in a global engineering environmentBasic knowledge in engineering plastic and elastomersTravel:
