This mechanical / automotiveengineer will be in charge of the development of Air IntakeSystems for the Automotive sector.The position will be based in our EMEA headquarters in Leuven and can partially be done from home.We happily welcome candidates with a first engineering experience (2+ years) with an interest in design, part validation and project management, but equally accept candidates with 5+ years of experience.We will also provide a tailor-made training to guide you in your job.
This role will report to Ton Moers, Engineering Manager in our Mobile Solutions division.Responsibilities:
To assure the complete management of the assigned Customers from a technical point of viewManages and coordinates the application of air intake products for assigned OE customersManages products testing, sets-up benchmarking programs and manages research effortsProvides engineering support to large OE projectsProvides technical support to sales, customers, and users in the fieldEnsures broad range of engineering tasks according to ISO/TSElaborate autonomously new proposals to the customers for new project applicationsQualifications:
Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or equivalent through experienceTeam playerFluent verbal and written English.Knowledge oFrench, Dutch or German is an assetGood understanding of combustion engines, fluid dynamics and electro-mechanics in general.Knowledge of materials:
plastics & related processing (injection, roto molding etc.), metals & related processing, seals & adhesivesStrong in conceptual thinking & problem solving.
