You will contribute in the innovation projects that suport the development of new solutions for our customers in the field of soil treatment, civil works, and infrastructures (roads, railways, dikes…).Your role and responsibilities Support to innovation projects:
Defines and manages the action plan according to the innovation processDelivers the project deliverables within the agreed time & budgetEnsures proper communication inside and outside the teamPrepares requested reporting and gate review presentationsIdentifies and investigates new opportunities in collaboration with the operational divisions and the R&D laboratoriesProvides and organizes advanced technical support to business operations:
Clarifies objectives, timing, priority level and deliverables of advanced technical requests (in collaboration with lab team when lab resources are needed)Ensures a relevant answer is delivered to the requester in due time and well documentedRepresents Lhoist in various lobbying effort at European and National committees (standardization, Lime association…)About you You commit to display Group’s values:
respect, courage, integrity and apply a “safety first” attitude whether inside or outside of Lhoist.You hold an a Master’s Degree and/or PhD in Civil Engineering, Materials.
Background in chemical engineering, geotechnical engineering and/or construction material engineering is a big plus.You have 2-5 years of experience in the industry, roads & infrastructure companies or dedicated research institutes that work in innovation projects, R&D and technical support.You are experienced in interpreting the lab result, and based on that:
building presentations, writing articles/reports.You can convert your acquired knowledge into concrete business actions actions.You seek for variety in terms of tasks and responsibilities.
You will enjoy working on different subjects simultaneously.You have excellent communication skills both written and orally.
