15 mio € Managing the periodical tenders,according to Belgian and European tender procedureso You lead negotiations with air transport companies inorder to obtain optimal price/quality service for the transport of LandmarkGlobal’s postal and cargo flowso You set-up contracts between bpost NV and transportcompaniesYou coordinate and organize the export of letter mail,parcels and EMS worldwide in accordance with quality requirements of bposto You determine the transport routeso You ensure the quality and efficiency of the selectedtransport solutions on a daily basiso You report to management and take corrective andpro-active actions towards the transport suppliers which don’t respect theprocedures and quality objectivesYou maintain worldwide (All UPU countries, thusspecific transport requirements on country base) the operational relationshipwith postal companies and private distributors:
o You make concrete agreements about the exchange ofpostal shipments with those companieso You monitor daily the punctual and correct in -andoutbound of postal activitieso You take in consultation with all partners preventiveand corrective actions in order to manage the exchange of postal shipmentso You ensure correct and complete data flows for allinternational linehaulsYou manage a team of 2 air plannersIn collaboration with Finance, you verify thetransport invoices and take corrective actions towards transport suppliers thatdon’t respect the procedures or the discussed ratesProfileIn your role of AirfreightManager, you are a solution oriented team player who combines strongcustomer orientation with a conceptual way of thinking.
You are able to managestakeholders in English, French and Dutch.However, we would like to emphasize thefollowing:
You have a master’s degree in a relevant fieldcombined with a proven track record of at least 5 years in a similar positionand a deep knowledge of Cargo and Air regulations.· You have a feeling for ICT.· You have a positive and open mindset.
