Supervision of the general accounting and transactional accounting departmentsOversee on a daily basis the two teams of accountants (approximately 15 FTEs), in charge of general accounting & joint ventures, cash & banks, accounts payable and accounts receivable.Ensure efficient transactional processing with the appropriate level of control.Ensure the overall closing process until the group reporting and external audit.Ensure that general accounts of BESIX NV and Joint Ventures are held in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.2.
Financial ReportingEnsure the BESIX SA statutory annual accounts filingEnsure the accurate and timely internal reporting of KPIs, such as ageing analyses, …Responsible for the preparation on a quarterly basis of the consolidation bundle for the BESIX Group’s consolidation departmentMake recommendations to enhance the financial reporting together with the Group reporting and consolidation managerConsidering the recently implemented ERP (business central), drive process improvements3.
TaxesEnsure compliance with VAT regulations and the timely and accurate submission of monthly VAT declarationsTogether with the Tax director, ensure that yearly income tax declarations are filed in a timely and accurate manner4.
