Job description:
Daily accounting from A to Z for several enttities, ensuring consistency with the Belgium and the Group Chart of Accounts and rules and appropriate supporting documentation; Weekly cash reporting, preparation of payments and cash forecasts; Accurate and timely Group reporting, on a monthly basis; Intercompany reconciliation on a monthly basis; Accurate and timely local and legal reporting, on a monthly, quarterly or ad-hoc frequency; Master data management (new suppliers or customers, payment conditions, bank details update, new interco entities, etc.); Filing VAT declarations and reclaiming foreign VAT; Preparation of statutory annual financial statements, including notes to the accounts; Dealing with ad hoc requests from the Group Accounting and Controlling team; Dealing with ad hoc requests from other Group services teams (compliance, treasury, legal or other financial directors); Liaising with external auditors for the annual audit and tax consultants for corporate income tax declarations (providing explanations and supporting documentation); Documenting accounting processes through written procedures with regular updates when applicable; Help in defining and implementing enhancements of the accounting/finance processes and procedures.
Qualifications Profile description:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting 1-3 years of experience in Accounting.
Strong organisational and time management skills, ensuring that monthly deadlines are met.
Very accurate and highly reliable Proactive, adaptable, and flexible Fast learner with an agile mindset and attracted by the diversity of the position.
Ability to work in an autonomous manner.
Good communication skills Team player, enjoy working in a small team Eager to work in an evolving, dynamic, and multicultural environment.
Requirements:
French English Any additional language is an asset.
Strong knowledge of accounting software.
