With a global reach and a dynamic, rapidly expanding team, we're driving innovation and sustainability to power a brighter future. As an Accountant , you will oversee the Procure to Pay process within the finance team for various group companies, both in Belgium and abroad.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Order-To-Cash (OTC) process and general ledger activities.
Responsibilities:
Managing the Procure to Pay process You'll be the first point of contact for accounting-related supplier queries Processing purchase invoices and expense notes Setting up payments for suppliers and employees Supporting accounts receivables within the OTC process Contacting customers and recording customer receipts Handling ad hoc projects and providing support to the finance team and CFO in general accounting tasks Optimizing processes in the ERP system for AP, AR and GL Support senior accountant during month end close Own certain general ledger activities Assist with VAT and corporation tax returns Involved in management and statutory reporting Requirements You have minimum 2 years experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment.
You possess a strong understanding of general accounting principles and VAT legislation.
You have the motivation and determination to lead projects aimed at improving processes.
You have a very good to Excellent level of English, given our international company.
You are skilled in working with an ERP system and Excel.
You are a collaborative team player who is aligned with the company's objectives.
You are proactive and capable of independently completing assigned tasks.
