The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in government relations within the nicotine industry.
Responsibilities
Research and monitor government activities within the industry that could affect the organization's business and clients.
Work with senior management and leadership for strategic planning to address potential regulatory activities and risks related to the business and industry.
Build and maintain professional relationships with members of local and national government entities and agencies.
Engage with trade associations and industry committees.
Collaborate with industry advocates to establish areas of common interest.
Represent the organization by testifying before government committees.
Keep abreast of legislative and public policy changes that affect company operations.
Engage in activities that contribute to the business's success.
Requirements:
Willing to work in Germany
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Government Relations-related position.
Must have GA/GR experience in Germany.
Have a background in the regulatory affairs of the Tobacco or Nicotine industry.
